Hanson Professional Services Inc. is an employee-owned consulting firm, with headquarters in Springfield, Ill., that specializes in providing architecture, engineering, scientific and program management services to clients around the world.

We employ architects, engineers, land acquisition specialists, planners, surveyors and scientists. Together, we serve clients from offices nationwide.

Since our company was founded in 1954, we’ve been giving our clients a competitive advantage for more than 50 years. From design to construction, we focus on each stage of a project and each client’s goals, budgets and timelines.

More than half of our annual revenue is generated from transportation-related projects. These projects include highway and bridge design, traffic planning and airport development. And while transportation is an important part of our business, we also focus on designing a variety of buildings and facilities, including offices and industrial complexes, schools and universities, communications and electronic facilities, and radio broadcast stations. We’re also committed to protecting our environment through wetlands planning and environmental assessments.

For decades, Hanson has appeared as a Top 500 design firm in Engineering News-Record Magazine’s listing of premiere U.S. design firms. And in 2001, we were named one of the 100 fastest-growing architecture and engineering consulting firms in the country as a Zweig Letter Hot Firm.
