Hanson receives national award as ‘a top place
to work’

Making CE News’ national top 50 list as a great place to work has created a buzz at Hanson. For the second consecutive year, Hanson has been named one of the top best civil engineering firms to work for by the national magazine. Hanson ranked No. 31 on the 2002 list.

“Our founder, Walter Hanson, understood that creating a workplace environment with both challenges and rewards attracts the type of employee that has made our company one of the best, and that tradition has been followed by Hanson’s leadership ever since.”

—Don Oglesby

“One of the reasons I joined Hanson was the company’s emphasis on employees and its belief that employees are the lifeblood of the company. Everyone here is a vital component of making Hanson successful.”
