Hanson named in top 10 design firms in Midwest

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. -- Hanson Professional Services Inc. has been named No. 10 in the top 130 design firms in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. Midwest Construction, a publication for the construction marketplace, awarded the list based on billings for last year.

The company provided architectural and engineering design services for the new $31 million University Hall facility, a 128,000-square-foot classroom and office building at the University of Illinois’ Springfield campus, provided engineering services to widen an eight-mile segment of Interstate 55/74 from four lanes to six lanes on the west side of Bloomington, Ill., and the north side of Normal, Ill., and completed architectural and engineering design for a new 45,000-square-foot composite support facility for the Air National Guard in Springfield, Ill.

Hanson is a national employee-owned consulting firm providing architectural, engineering and management services to clients from its corporate headquarters in Springfield, Ill., and 13 offices nationwide.
