GIS data translations

Location: St. Louis, Mo.

During this project, Hanson converted U.S. Geological Service National Elevation Data (NED) from BIL format to Mr. SID. We also created several mosaics to cover the St. Louis District, and delivered all datasets on DVD. Additional translation services were provided to convert USDS DEM data from the standard SDTS format to Inroads and Geomedia compatible formats.

Hanson provided GIS services, including generating survey "coordinate correct" boundary lines for four large lakes that are managed by the Corps. We also converted these features to polygon shapefiles that are compatible with both ArcView 8.x and Geomedia.
