at Springfield University Hall

Hanson provided architectural and engineering design services for the new University Hall, a 140,000-square-foot classroom and office building at the University of Illinois at Springfield campus.

This facility houses the College of Business and Management, College of Liberal Arts and Science, Student Services, Capital Scholars Program and the Office of Admissions and Records. Moving these academic programs and student services into the new building helped to form a new campus quadrangle, which university officials hope will develop into a social and collegial atmosphere.
